SHAMROCK IN FRAME
The shamrock is an emblem of faith, hope and love for the Irish and flourishes in fields throughout spring and summer.
The shamrock is also rooted in Irish history because of its connection with the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. Narratives recount how St. Patrick used the three petals of the shamrock to teach about Christian values to Celtic pagans. Pictures detail him driving the snakes out of Ireland with a cross in one hand and a sprig of shamrock in the other.
St. Patricks Day is celebrated throughout the world on the 17th of March.
It is our privilege to design and make such a special representation of our heritage here at Connemara Handcrafted Glass.
