Designed and crafted by Dorothy and Joseph Forsuh, each piece is an expression of the stunning colours of the landscape that surrounds them at their studio in Balla, Co. Mayo. Their highly skilled, painstaking technique forms glass pieces in a kiln, merging colour and texture, much in the way the colours of nature match, blend and contrast.
Glass is the most primal of mediums, borne out of heat as intense as a volcano. Rigid when cooled, it responds differently as it loses heat, from almost liquid, to pliable like clay and solid in its impervious and finished state. Utilizing only the finest quality glass available, each piece goes through a crafting process like no other. It is a truly magical and wonderful way to add a splash of breath-taking colour to your home.
