For us, the wave is a really powerful subject for exploration and each piece has its own individuality, in colour and shape.  Each sculpture which looks like they were made by the same process, have their own unique shapes.  An 'Aileen' is the type of enormous wave that assaults the Cliffs of Moher.  This mammoth sized wave and the fame among surfers gives them a somewhat mystical reputation.
