Mondrian Part II
The Juxtaposition of Modernism through Piet Mondrian and Repetition in Art. Pattern is the repetition of any element—line, shape, or colour, for example—in a design.
The 'Chromagon' bowl collection is inspired by the work of artist Piet Mondrian. Based around different geometric shapes with a corresponding outlines. Each piece has a different system of lines and partitions within a round perimeter. Using a palette of various colours there’s a contrast between the discipline of straight lines and the organic – earth, sky, sea, sunset and leaf green.
